HCM City to host semi-professional Muay Thai Tournament

HA NOI – A semi-professional Muay Thai Tournament will be held in HCM City's Nguyen Du Gymnasium on September 16.

The event, jointly organised by the city's Department of Cultrure, Sports and Tourism and the Thai Consulate General, will include matches in six weight categories ranging from under-54kg to U60kg for men and U48kg-U63kg for women.

The Thais said they would send their strongest fighters to take part in the competition. – VNS
