VPF co-ordinates with Japan to develop professional football

The Viet Nam Professional Football Company (VPF) and the Japan Professional Football League Company (J.League) held an agreement signing ceremony in Ha Noi yesterday to develop professional football.

Under the agreement, the two sides will exchange information to raise the level of organisation, management and running of professional football tournaments; share experience and hold seminars related to organising football events and clubs management; study and set up training programmes for coaches, referees and players; along with healthcare and marketing.

The two sides will also hold friendly matches between clubs from Viet Nam and Japan; organise events and train young footballers; create conditions for Vietnamese players to compete in the J.League; and support the development of trade rights.

VPF chairman Vo Quoc Thang said the VPF believed the agreement would help in the development of Vietnamese football.-VNS
