Vovinam eyes SEA Games inclusion

Viet Nam Olympic Committee leaders will be working to get the traditional Vietnamese martial art of Vovinam included at the 27th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games at a two day meeting in Myanmar.

The meeting is being held by the SEA Sports Council and the organising board of the 27th SEA Games this weekend.

Vovinam was included at the 26th SEA Games in Indonesia and the third Asian Indoors Games in Viet Nam. The martial art has been practised in over 40 countries across the world for nearly a century. — VNS
