Martial arrtists to compete at central coastal region tourney

Around 90 martial artists from seven central coastal provinces and cities will compete in the Central Coastal Region Traditional Martial Arts tournament which opens at the Tuyen Son Sports Centre today.

Athletes are scheduled to compete in 13 men's and women's weight categories of combat and performance events in two days.

Chairman of the city's traditional martial arts federation Nguyen Van Tuan said this was the first time that the tournament has been organised and it was expected to be held annually.

The tournament closes tomorrow.-VNS
