Bac Lieu to host SEA judo champs

The Southeast Asian Judo Championships will be held in the southern province of Bac Lieu this October.

More than 200 officials, referees and judokas from nine countries are expected to take part.

HCM City hosted the event in 2010, when martial artists from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia and Viet Nam competed.

Vietnamese judokas triumphed at the event, bagging 13 gold and two silver medals. — VNS
