Chess masters to play in Turkey

Vietnamese chess players will compete at the 2012 Chess Olympiad from August 27 to September 10 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The men's team sees the participation of five players while the women's team, six.

The event will be a good opportunity for them to test their skills after finishing third at the Asian Chess Championships in China in May.

In the 2008 Chess Olympiad, the Viet Nam men's team finished ninth out of 154 participating teams.-VNS
