Hoang Thien enters ITF Odense final

Vietnamese junior player Nguyen Hoang Thien beat Andreas Moltke-Leth from Denmark to progress to the final match of the boys' singles in the International Tennis Federation Odense in Denmark.

Thien didn't enjoy a good start when losing to his rival 4-6 in the first set. However, the No 1 seed powered to overcome the host rival 6-1, 6-4 in the next two sets.

He will meet Lasse Muscheites from Germany in the final.

Earlier in the boys' doubles, Thien and his partner Fredrik Prosch Hage of Norway was eliminated by Dutch pair Douwe Disbergen and Bernard Wezeman in the second round. — VNS
