Viet Nam lose to Chinese Taipei in Asian U-22 qualifying round

Viet Nam's U-22 squad lost to Chinese Taipei 1-2 in Group G of the Asian U-22 qualifying round in Myanmar on Saturday.

Overseas Vietnamese Mac Hong Quan opened the score in the 14th minute for Viet Nam, however, their rivals scored two goals in the 46th and 52nd minute.

In another match, South Korea defeated Malaysia 3-2.

Viet Nam will meet the hosts Myanmar today.

Viet Nam plays in Group G against South Korea, Malaysia, Chinese Taipei, the Philippines, and Myanmar. — VNS
