Volleyball tournament bounces into HCM City

An international men's volleyball tournament known as the Arirang Cup will take place from July 20-28 at Rach Mieu Gymnasium in HCM City.

It is expected to attract domestic clubs Maseco HCM City, Duc Long Gia Lai, Sanest Khanh Hoa and Long An, along with China's Shanghai and the Royal Thai Air Force.

They will compete in a round-robin format and the top four will progress to the next round.

The winning team will walk away with US$8,000, while the second and third placed teams will earn teams $5,000 and $3,000, respectively. — VNS
