Minh leaves Dong Tam Long An

HA NOI – Former national team member Tran Cong Minh has resigned as head coach of V-League 1 side Dong Tam Long An (DTLA) because of an internal dispute.

A foreign coach is expected to be chosen to lead the team, who will have a tough job as DTLA hopes to advance to the V-League next season.

Minh had coached the team since early March when the previous coach, Croatian Buketa Ranko, was sacked after two consecutive losses.

This is the third time that Minh, 42, has taken the position as head coach of DTLA, after holding the job in the 2008 and 2010 seasons.

After 14 rounds, the two-time V-League champions have 18 points and rank 10th.- VNS
