Japanese eighth seed wins F2 Futures in HCM City

Eighth seed Shuichi Sekiguchi from Japan won the F2 Men's Futures tennis tournament in HCM City after easily beating unseeded Daniel Geib of Austria in the final yesterday.

Sekiguchi beat Geib 6-1, 6-3 at the Hoang Thien Tennis Club to win the men's singles title.

In the doubles final, Australian Dane Propoggia and New Zealander Jose Statham defeated French pair Constatin Belot and Kevin Botti 6-4, 6-1 to win the doubles event.

The F3 Futures will kick off at the Phu Tho Tennis Club today.-VNS
