Two bodies recovered from Dong Nai River

DONG NAI — Search and rescue forces in southern Dong Nai Province's Bien Hoa City yesterday found the bodies of two people who went missing by Dong Nai River on Wednesday.

Nguyen Quoc Dung, 20, and his sister Nguyen Thi Cam Xuan, 12, were playing in a park next to Dong Nai River when Xuan slipped and fell into the water. Dung jumped in to rescue her, but the swift current swept the two siblings away.

Both bodies were found about 30 metres away from the scene. — VNS
