Hong Kong agency to offer charter tours

Hong Thai Travel Services, one of Hong Kong's biggest travel firms, will start bringing tourists from the region to Da Nang by charter flights in October.

The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Travel Management Division said a Hong Thai representative just informed the department about the plan.

At first Hong Thai will use two charter flights every week possibly operated by Cathay Pacific.

Hong Thai is also working on programmes to promote Da Nang in Hong Kong.

The department will collaborate with three – to five-star hotels and travel firms in the city to offer discounts on rooms and transport so that the Hong Kong partner can offer competitive products to its customers visiting Da Nang.-VNS
