Vo Anh Kiet's photo My Balloon captures H'Mong children playing with balloons on a foggy day in Moc Chau in Ha Giang Province. The photo won second prize in the National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest, held annually by the US's National Geographic Traveler magazine. For their 24th annual photo contest, the organising committee received over 12,000 entries from over 6,600 photographers from 152 countries. Taken in locations ranging from Afghanistan to Viet Nam, the winning pictures depicted everything from peaceful landscapes to unexpected moments.
