British Council puts on travelling film festival

HA NOI — A film festival entitled London Calling will be held in five major cities nationwide from August 29 to September 11, featuring screenings of prize-winning British films from the 1960s to the present, including Made in Dagenham, Love Actually, The Queen, Yellow Submarine, Orlando and Defense of the Realm. Organised by the British Council, the festival will include a trivia contest about British cinema and the London Olympics. The event will kick off in Ha Noi and move to Hai Phong, Hue and Da Nang, before ending up in HCM City. Schedules and the trivia quiz can be found onlline at http://britishcouncil.org.-VNS
