Six tourism clusters to focus on different areas of Ha Noi

Ha Noi will develop six key tourism clusters centred on different features in and near the city, according to a plan approved by the People's Council last week.

The cluster in the city centre will focus on cultural and historical sightseeing taking in the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Museum and Relic Complex inside the Presidential Palace, the One-pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, the 36 old streets of the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and surrounding areas.

The three other clusters, Son Tay-Ba Vi, Huong Son-Quan Son, and Soc Temple-Dong Quan Lake, will be developed for ecological, spiritual, and leisure tourism.

The Son Tay-Ba Vi cluster will feature resorts on Ba Vi mountain, Suoi Hai Lake, the Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Minorities, Culture and Tourism, the ancient Duong Lam village, and Va Temple.

The Huong Son-Quan Son cluster will include Huong (Perfume) Pagoda and Quan Son Lake. — VNS
