Vietnamese model competes in London

HA NOI — Viet Nam's Next Top Model 2011 runner-up Nguyen Thi Tra My is competing at the sixth annual Top Model Worldwide contest being held in London.

The 18-year-old, highly appreciated for her "sweet and gentle walk", is expected to do well at the contest, with her posing skills, good looks and fluent English.

"My dream of breaking into the international modelling industry has just come true. This is a big chance for me," My said.

The 1.78mwoman is a third-year student at the Ha Noi University of Business and Technology.

The UK-based Top Model Worldwide is one of the leading international modelling contests, seeking out the hottest new talent from across the globe with a number of titles and awards, and fantastic career opportunities.

This year's contest has attracted around 40 talented models. The final round will be held at The Hilton Metropole in London on March 17. Audiences can vote for their favourite contestants at www.topmodelworldwide.com.

Last weekend, winner of Viet Nam's Next Top Model 2011 Hoang Thuy was named among the 15 best models in the world and won the Best Catwalk Award at the Top Model of the World contest held in Germany. — VNS
