Bakery sets profit targets at $28m

HCM CITY (VNS)— The HCM City Stock Exchange-listed commercial bakery Kinh Do Co has set itself a target of VND600 billion (US$28.7 million) in total pre-tax profits this year on a turnover of VND5.5 trillion ($263 million).

Last year its pre-tax profits were VND515 billion, a 47 per cent rise over 2011.

KDC has already achieved its target of selling 3,800 tonnes of products for the Lunar New Year.

By Tet, which falls on February 10, it expects to exceed the target by 10 per cent.-VNS
