Marriott hotel to finish on schedule

HA NOI — The J.W.Marriott hotel is slated to be completed on time late this year and the blaze that occurred early this month will not affect the construction process of the US$130 million hotel, according to Bitexco, the investor of the hotel.

The blaze was attributed to the smouldering of some construction materials outside the hotel. The first 9-storey JW Marriott in Viet Nam – located in Tu Liem District, Ha Noi – will have a total of 450 rooms when completed. The hotel will be targeted at corporate clients as well as local and international tourists.-VNS
