Fines levied for disclosure violations

HA NOI – The State Securities Commission has imposed administrative sanctions on 14 enterprises and individuals who have violated disclosure regulations.

Viet Tri Paper Co has been ordered to pay VND10 million (US$480) for not submitting to the commission its 2010 financial report and shareholders' resolution.

Also last month, Kien Long Bank chairman Tran Phat Minh was fined VND70 million ($3,300) for selling 876,450 Sacombank (STB) shares but failing to report the transaction to the commission.-VNS
