VinaCapital buys up VinaProjects

HA NOI - Asset management firm VinaCapital has announced it now fully owns VinaProjects.

The company bought VinaProjects' 50 per cent stake from inProjects Group, a provider of services for the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors, lifting its control to 100 per cent.

Matt Fletcher, CEO of inProjectsGroup, said: "Our decision to sell our stake in VinaProjects is part of an overall strategy to refocus our company on core high growth services and sectors.

VinaCapital's CEO Don Lam said that the firm would maintain a strategic relationship with inProjectsGroup, allowing for joint bidding on appropriate projects in Viet Nam and other countries within Indochina.

VinaProjects, which was established in 2009 as a joint venture between VinaCapital and inProjectsGroup based in Hong Kong, offers project and construction management, urban planning and facilities management services. - VNS
