City expo showcases high-quality products

HCM CITY – The "Vietnamese High Quality Products Fair" opened yesterday at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in HCM City's District 11.

The fair has 800 booths where 250 domestic businesses are displaying garments and textiles, footwear, handicraft, food and household utensils, electrical goods and other items.

For the first time, a cake festival called "Banh ngon tu gao" (Delicious cake made from rice) will be part of the exhibition, introducing to HCM City people more than 100 kinds of rice-based cakes made by the southern artisans and family-owned establishments.-VNS
